A Championship coaching position is awarded to a former Derby County, Huddersfield Town, and Sheffield United player.
It has been confirmed that Richard Stearman has joined Swansea City’s
coaching staff under interim manager Alan Sheehan.
Despite their current precarious situation, Swansea City is optimistic about the future.
With merely a temporary manager overseeing on-field affairs and additional changes
being made off the field, it seems as though the Swans are in a state of uncertainty.
Alan Sheehan was selected as the interim manager following Luke Williams’ dismissal,
and it has now been confirmed that he will remain in that position until the end of the
current campaign. It remains to be seen if he will eventually take over
permanently or if someone else will eventually get the position.
Sheehan is still in control of Swansea City for the time being, though,
and his coaching staff has been strengthened.
Former Derby County, Huddersfield Town, and Sheffield United center-back
Richard Stearman has taken on his first EFL coaching position since retiring.
He joins the backroom staff together with Mark Fotheringham, the former manager of Huddersfield Town.
Sheehan hopes to guide the Swans to a successful season finale with the help of Kris O’Leary and Martyn Margetson.
