Sheffield Wednesday U18s manager, Andy Sharp, wants his young Owls to try and replicate their league-winning counterparts from 2018/19.

The Owls’ U18s have put themselves in a fantastic position in the Professional Development League North after winning six games on the bounce, with their latest coming in the form of a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Crewe Alexandra.

 

Liam Clayton and Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri were on the scoresheet in Crewe as Wednesday went five points clear in second place, putting them in an excellent position to reach the

Championship play-offs even though remain eight points off leaders, Burnley. The sixth win made it 18 points from 18 for the first time since2018, and Sharp is delighted with how things have played out for his side in 2024/25 so far.
