Sky Sports pundit has difficulties. Stoke City’s transfer caution as AFC Bournemouth looms

According to Lee Hendrie, if Kepa Arrizabalaga leaves Stoke City,

Viktor Johansson might join Bournemouth.

According to Swedish outlet Sport Bladet, Andoni Iraola’s team is keeping an

eye on the 26-year-old following his efforts in the Championship.

Following Rotherham United’s relegation from the second level last year,

the Swede joined Stoke City.

Johansson has received numerous accolades for his performances this season,

despite the club’s own struggle to avoid relegation to League One.

Hendrie lauded Johansson’s efforts for Stoke and said it’s no wonder that he’s

already being linked with a larger move.

He believes the 26-year-old may move up to Bournemouth as a viable replacement

for Kepa if he returns to Chelsea once his loan stay expires this summer.

“Bournemouth has been linked with Viktor Johansson, who has been fantastic for Stoke this season,

” Hendrie exclusively told Football League World.

“In fact, I think he’s been really vital in keeping them just adrift; I know they’re in that relegation struggle,

but you only have to look at his save ratio this season, and what he’s delivered, and what big,

massive saves he’s made to keep them in games and, obviously, just afloat.

“But it wouldn’t surprise me if one of the elite clubs came hunting for him, which is why he’s been connected with Bournemouth.

“Kepa will return to Chelsea, who has had a wonderful season but has undoubtedly suffered a fall in form recently.
