Leicester City’s International Players Picked for Duty

Leicester current and former players will be involved in internationals this and next week. We have listed what we found on different current and ex Leicester players called up by their different nations.

 

Wilfred Ndidi has joined up with Nigeria. They will play Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Games are World Cup qualifiers. Calvin Bassey and Ademola Lookman are also in the squad.

 

Jannik Vestergaard is in the Denmark squad. Mads Hermansen is also in the squad. Denmark will play against Portugal on the 20th and 25th of March. These are Nations League quarter finals. Victor Kristiansen was not called up. Kasper Schmeichel is in the squad.

Wout Faes has joined up with Belgium for their Nations League play-off games vs. Ukraine. Youri Tielemans and Timothy Castagne are also in the squad.

 

Caleb Okoli is out of the Italian squad, he has not been included for the games vs. Germany. Hamza Choudhury looks to get his Bangladesh debut as he has joined their squad for the game vs. India.

 

Republic of Ireland has left out Kasey McAteer for their Nation League fixtures vs. Bulgaria. Tom Cannon is not involved either, due to an injury. Facundo Bounanotte is not included when Argentina take on Uruguay and Brazil in World Cup qualifiers.

 

Bilal El Khannouss is in the Morocco squad for their World Cup qualifiers vs. Niger and Tanzania. Jordan Ayew is in the Ghana squad for their games vs. Chad and Madagaskar.

 

Louis Page is in the England U.17 squad for their games vs. Israel, Slovenia and N Ireland. Ben Nelson is in the England U.20 squad for their games vs. Portugal and Switzerland.
