The second half of Starbucks partnership with the Harry Kane Foundation (HKF) kicks off today, on 13 March, with the launch Harry’s Flat White. Handcraftedwith sugar-free vanilla syrup, a double shot of Starbucks® signature espresso roast and oat drink, this beverage is inspired by Harry’s coffee order, with the goal to raise additional funds for the Harry Kane Foundation and its supporting mental health charities.

Available until the end of April, Starbucks will donate 25p from each Harry’s Flat White purchased to the Harry Kane Foundation, using the proceeds to support two of its charity partners, Bounce Forward and Mental Health Innovationsto deliver additional training, guidance and mental health counsel to people in England.

Harry Kane Foundation (HKF) launched on World Mental Health Day in October 2022 with the long-term goal of transforming a generation’s thinking about mental health. Spearheaded by England men’s football captain and Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane MBE, Harry Kane Foundation works with charities, experts, and strategic partners to inspire, educate, and empower people of all ages to be active on mental health.*

Harry Kane MBE, England men’s football captain and Bayern Munich striker, said: “Grabbing a coffee has always been an essential part of my daily routine. Sometimes it’s first thing before training, before a match or when I’m relaxing with friends and family.

“Whenever I want a coffee I choose a flat white, it’s part of my routine and it helps me prepare. Football is about dedication, and I take my preparation very seriously, that is something I pride myself on. But those moments off the pitch, connecting with people, socialising and chatting with my teammates have always been important to me.

“That’s why I’m so excited to launch Harry’s Flat White in partnership with Starbucks. With 25p from each purchase going directly to charities that support mental health, we’re creating more opportunities for people to connect, talk, and support each other in meaningful ways.”

Monies raised from the beverage will add to an existing £500,000 donation made directly by Starbucks to the Harry Kane Foundation, to help support their work in normalising conversations and promoting positive habits around mental health, by tackling stigmas. Beneficiaries of the donation to date include: Mental Health Innovations, Bounce Forward, the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) alongside The Tommy Club, Haven House, and London Playing Fields Foundation.

Bounce Forward is a national charity equipping teachers to develop the next generation to be psychologically fit with its five-year Healthy Minds curriculum. The lessons teach mental resilience and emotional wellbeing skills and include lessons which have been co-authored by Harry and Kate Kane. With support from the Harry Kane Foundation, over 60 additional secondary schools have implemented the curriculum, benefiting thousands of students, and funds from Harry’s Flat White and Starbucks existing £500,000 donation could further impact more teenagers, support parents in nurturing resilience at home, and more.**

Mental Health Innovations is a charity that delivers scalable digital services and insights to transform the mental health of the nation. They power The Mix, a supportive digital community that helps young people build life skills and connections through content, community and counselling, and Shout, the UK’s only free, 24/7 text messaging mental health support service. Donations from Harry’s Flat White can help fund bespoke access to mental health support for organisations and provide vital counselling sessions for young people in need.***

To mark the launch, Starbucks commissioned food artist, Michelle Sugar, to create a one-of-a-kind portrait of Harry Kane crafted entirely from expired coffee beans that otherwise would have gone to waste.

Alex Rayner, general manager at Starbucks UK, said: “At Starbucks, we believe in the power of coffee to bring people together, and our continued partnership with The Harry Kane Foundation is a reflection of that. Over the past year, we’ve seen how small conversations can make a big impact on mental wellbeing, and we’re proud to keep that momentum going with the launch of Harry’s Flat White. By donating 25p from every cup to the Harry Kane Foundation, we’re helping to fund vital support services and create more opportunities for meaningful connections in our stores and beyond.”

Customers can access Harry’s Flat White, from 13 March until 30 April 2025, as follows:

Harry’s Flat White is available to enjoy from Starbucks® stores across England only subject to availability, whilst stocks last. Customers can find their nearest store on Starbucks® Store Locator. Customers who bring their own reusable cup in store will receive 25p off their beverage.
