As his contract draws to a close, the long-term Rangers target has told Fenerbahce of his intentions, saying, “The club knows.”
Rangers’ star-studded team is already showing off at an Ibrox training session as they get ready to
host Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
There will be a lot of talent on display in the Europa League match against Rangers in Glasgow,
as Jose Mourinho leads a team that includes well-known players from all around the world of football.
However, if circumstances had been different, one player from Fenerbahce’s
roster might have been showing up at Ibrox in recent years.
Bright Osayi, a former winger for Queens Park Rangers Samuel joined the Turkish team in 2021,
but Rangers were rumored to be interested before he finalized his transfer to Istanbul.
When Osayi-Samuel contemplated his future in the English Championship back in September 2020,
he was linked to both Rangers and Celtic.
However, the out-of-contract winger decided to join Fenerbahce,
where he has transformed into a right wing-back and is now a vital member of the Turkish team’s roster.
Over the years, there have been renewed rumors of Rangers, but after four years,
Rangers will get a close-up look at Osayi-Samuel when Fenerbahce visits town in the Europa League.
However, Osayi-Samuel has previously expressed to Fenerbahce his exact career goals as the
Nigerian international approaches yet another turning point.
