Concerns in Derby County are validated as a midfielder sustains a season-ending injury.

Concerns in Derby County are validated as a midfielder sustains a season-ending injury.

It has been reported that David Ozoh, who is on loan from Derby County,

will miss the remainder of the season due to injury.
Last summer, Crystal Palace loaned talented midfielder David Ozoh to Derby County.

He appeared to be a strong coup when DCFC brought him in as an additional option in the middle of the park.
Under former manager Paul Warne, the 19-year-old, who has already played

Premier League football at Crystal Palace, got off to a strong start and found a place

in the defensive midfield. But his momentum was stopped by a

hamstring injury that kept him out of action for a long time.

Ozoh had hurdles during his recuperation, but he has returned to the starting lineup

for four of the last five Championship games following a cameo against Cardiff City.

However, Ozoh was pulled off late against Millwall for Derby County last time out,

and there are now definite concerns about another major injury.

The Palace loanee sustained a muscular injury against the Lions,

which will keep him out of action for the remainder of the season, according to BBC Sport Derby.

Although it’s unclear if more information will be released,

it appears that DCFC supporters have witnessed Ozoh in their colors for the very last time.
