Alexander Jensen of Aberdeen’s remarks regarding Celtic before to Parkhead’s abuse today seem ridiculous.
Even if they weren’t playing at their best, Celtic dominated Aberdeen.
After being lethargic in the first half, Celtic easily defeated Aberdeen 5-1,
maintaining their 13-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings.
The Bhoys never really settled into a rhythm against Jimmy Thelin’s team,
and the victory was clinched by a double from Daizen Maeda,
Callum McGregor’s 50th Celtic goal, and further goals from Jota and Hyunjun Yang.
But in the lead-up to the big game, Alexander Jensen of Aberdeen was talking about
Celtic when he said something about the Parkhead team that now makes the Dane appear rather stupid.
Admittedly, Alexander Jensen watched Celtic vs. Bayern Munich.
As part of Jimmy Thelin’s strategy to revitalize the Pittodrie team, the Danish fullback joined Aberdeen this season.
The 23-year-old also acknowledges that he watched Celtic’s tie with Bayern Munich before to the Parkhead match.
“It’s different than what I was used to before in Scottish football,” Jensen told the Press & Journal.
You have to adjust to the fact that there are more duels and that it’s more physical.
I like the intensity and think it’s good.
