After John Eustace’s update, Derby County takes a serious hit from David Ozoh.
David Ozoh’s season-long suspension has delivered Derby County a serious blow in their battle to avoid relegation.
Last Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Millwall at home required the on-loan Crystal Palace midfielder to be taken off on a stretcher. After that, Ozoh had a scan, which revealed thigh damage. As a result, he will miss the rest of Derby’s campaign.

Eustace made the following statement prior to this weekend’s match against Middlesbrough: “Unfortunately, David will be missing for the remainder of the season which is a major blow to.
He is a terrific player, and from our little collaboration, it is clear that he is of high caliber.
“He is going to be a miss but he is going to stay around the group and again in my short time being with him, he is a gentleman and a lovely lad.”He will get along well with the other players. It’s a setback, but that’s the nature of the game and the Championship.
“It will give somebody else the opportunity to step up and whoever it is will be excited to make an impact.”
