A monetary windfall for Bramley-Moore Dock is revealed as the Everton “bigger picture”

According to Dan Plumley, Everton might have benefited financially from recent events at the

Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

As they are ready to move to Bramley-Moore Dock at the beginning of the upcoming season,

the Toffees will bid adieu to Goodison Park.On February 17, Everton hosted their first test

match in their new stadium, and 10,000 spectators watched as the Under-18 team lost 2-1 to Wigan Athletic.

Plumley has talked about the potential for Everton to get a financial windfall from the match versus Wigan,

as another test event with 25,000 spectators is scheduled for late March or early April.

According to the football finance specialist, the supporters might have received complimentary tickets for the

“I think it is fair to say that there would have been some sort of free ticket aspect to that,” Plumley exclusively told Goodison News.

“I haven’t seen anything, but I’m not sure about the other events. You might be able to charge a small fee.”Naturally, money will have been spent on food and drink inside the arena; once more, if the club receives a portion of the proceeds or a percentage of the sales, that is likely a small windfall.
