In the PL Cup semifinals, the U18s will play Derby County.
The U18 Premier League Cup semi-final between West Ham United U18s and
Derby County will take place at Moor Farm Training Ground on Wednesday, March 5 at 12 p.m.
With wins over Nottingham Forest, Southampton, and Everton, as well as a draw at Everton,
Lauris Coggin’s young Hammers topped their group and advanced to the competition’s final four.
They then defeated the reigning champions, Manchester United, by penalty shootout in the quarterfinals.
With 73 goals in just 22 games in all competitions this season, their rivals, the Derby County U18s, are third in the Premier League North and have one of the best goal scoring records in the nation.
The young Rams defeated Fulham and defeated Manchester City and
Brighton & Hove Albion to win their group and advance to the quarterfinals.
With victories over Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City,
the young Rams advanced to the quarterfinals as group winners.
They defeated Fulham 4-0 in the round of eight to advance to the semi-finals,
where they will face the Irons. The match will be streamed live on the
