After recuperating from his sickness, Ryan Giles is back in the Middlesbrough squad that is traveling to Stoke City.
The left-back, who joined Middlesbrough from Hull last month, will return on Tuesday at the bet365 Stadium at 7:45 p.m. after missing Friday’s loss to Bristol City. Although Ben Doak, a vital loan forward for Liverpool, is aiming to return to training next week after missing the previous four games, Michael Carrick will still be without him.

None of the injured guys will return, but Ryan has bounced back from his illness over the weekend and is back in and around everything, which is wonderful,” Michael Carrick told GazetteLive. Since the injured guys are a little bit farther away, I don’t think they’ll return for the weekend either. “It shouldn’t be too long after that, maybe a week or two,” I said. In terms of training, we’re expecting Ben will be in and around it the next week. We don’t want to give that a tight timeframe. We’ll have to wait and see, but I understand that everyone is eager to see when he’s fit. It’s wonderful that he’s not too far away now.
