Emmanuel Latte Lath’s intriguing Middlesbrough remark about the “easy” Atlanta United choice

Latte Lath was speaking as he was officially presented at a press conference earlier in the

week ahead of the MLS season opening. In the early hours of Sunday morning,

Latte Lath was immediately included in the starting lineup for Atlanta United’s match against Montreal.

He made a spectacular debut by scoring two goals in a 3-2 victory. However, he addressed the media in a

press conference prior to the game to formally introduce himself as an Atlanta player.

His remarks on Boro were intriguing when asked why he chose to join the MLS after 18 months at the club.

He said that he had not watched anything of the MLS. They struck up a conversation with me, showed me the project,

and made it very simple for me to come here. Even though I’m only 26, I still want to win something.
