
A stumbling hurdle for the new manager of Blackburn Rovers is revealed when Steve Cooper and Gary O’Neil are named.
Following the unexpected departure of John Eustace to Derby County,
Blackburn Rovers is still looking for a new manager.
However, a financial roadblock has surfaced with reference to the
compensation package offered for the position.
After barely escaping relegation to League One the previous season and losing top scorer Sammie Szmodics,
the play-off contenders have surpassed everyone’s expectations this season.
Following a successful transfer window, the former Premier League
winners are again vying for a spot back in the top division.
Those aspirations were slightly dashed by Swansea City’s thumping victory on Saturday,
and Rovers are now in danger of falling out of the top six.

Birmingham City manager began since Eustace left earlier this month.
Richie Wellens of Leyton Orient was reportedly considered, although it has been
