Watford player to be signed by Crystal Palace; he may “embrace new challenge” next season

Crystal Palace have identified Watford’s Edo Kayembe as a transfer target for next season,

according to Africa Foot.

The midfield player has been a mainstay since the previous campaign after joining

Vicarage Road from Belgian team KAS Eupen in January 2022.

He has seven goals and two assists from 32 Championship games this season,

and he managed five goals and two assists from 35 League games last season.

Kayembe’s efforts for Watford have made Crystal Palace take note.

“pillar” of Watford’s midfield. Crystal Palace is mentioned and plans to make a play

for him during the upcoming transfer window.

Recently, Ipswich Town considered signing the player; however,

it is unknown why they decided against it.

If Crystal Palace were to hire him, the article claims he would have

another chance to return to the English top flight.

With the Eagles the following season, Kayembe could “embrace a new challenge” in this manner.

Whether Crystal Palace will turn their curiosity into a bid in the summer is too soon to tell at this time.

With four points separating them from sixth-place Bristol City, Watford is currently in ninth
