
A former midfielder for Luton Town, Derby County, and West Ham signed with Crawley Town.
“Crawley Town Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Louie Watson
on a deal until the end of the 2025/2026 season,” a statement read on Friday evening (February 21).
“Louie Watson, 23, was a free agent after leaving Luton Town by mutual consent in August.
He began his career at West Ham United before leaving the Premier League club in 2020 to join Derby County.
He started his career at Pride Park with the Under 23s, but soon moved into the senior squad and made his
league debut for the Rams as a late substitute in December 2020.
A midfielder has joined Crawley Town after beginning his career with West Ham of the Premier League.
In August, 23-year-old Louie Watson left Luton Town by mutual consent, making him a free agent.
Watson attempted to join Luton Town in the Championship in July 2022.
In addition to playing five games for the Hatters, he had a great loan stint with Charlton Athletic, making 27 appearances.
“After being released as a free agent in the summer,
Louie has been working on his fitness and is available for selection [on Saturday] afternoon at Blackpool,”
a Crawley Town representative continued.
