Sheffield Wednesday plans to breach Burnley, and Danny Röhl sets an example for Leeds United.
According to Danny Röhl, Sheffield Wednesday is ready for the chance to break through Burnley’s
record-breaking defense on Friday night and become the first team to do so.
By achieving this, the Owls would score their first goal of the season against one of the so-called “big four” in this
Championship season, making them the first team to do it in almost 1,000 minutes against the Clarets.

Elland Road last month as a sign they can very much mix it with the big boys – a 3-0 defeat was roundly accepted
as a harsh scoreline and came courtesy of momentary lapses in concentration, with Leeds scoring
twice in the last five minutes. Despite having seven more goals than their Friday night competitors and ranking
fourth in this year’s league, Wednesday has yet to defeat the dominant quartet vying for automatic promotion—Leeds United,
Sheffield United, Burnley, and Sunderland—in their five games thus far. When asked about the statistic,
Röhl grinned and cited his team’s performance at Elland Road last month as evidence that they can compete
with the big boys. Leeds scored twice in the final five minutes,
and the 3-0 loss was widely regarded as a harsh scoreline due to brief distractions.
