and is ranked number one on FourFourTwo’s list of the greatest players of all time,
many still doubt whether he could have performed against a Tony Pulis-led Stoke City circa

In the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup first-round matchup against Sporting Kansas City,
Messi and his teammates—including Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets—were exposed to the bitter cold of -17 degrees.
On Wednesday night, 15,178 spectators attended the game at Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Park.According to earlier reports,
Messi didn’t even want to play in the game since the 37-year-old couldn’t handle the cold. However,
Messi played the entire 90 minutes and scored the game’s lone goal in the 56th minute, dispelling those rumors.
