A look at the best Premier League free agents available to Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham.

The transfer window may be shut, but clubs will already be looking ahead to the summer window as they plan their business ahead of next season. Free agents are always a good way to save money, and there could be some attractive freebies available in the Premier League this summer.

Here we take a look at some of the best options based on players who are currently set to be out of contract this summer, with particular focus on players Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham could all look at. With that in mind, we have excluded players from those clubs.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton)

The Everton striker is one of the most attractive potential free agents this summer, still only 27 and yet to reach his full potential. Calvert-Lewin has proved he can be dangerous in the Premier League, but he hasn’t done it consistently enough. That could change in a more consistent team, though the Toffees are back on the rise under David Moyes, and with the new stadium and owners, they may be able to convince him to stay. Calvert-Lewin will have a big decision to make this summer, and if he does leave, he could have plenty of options. Clearly, he could fit all three of these London clubs, being a natural alternative to Dominic Solanke, Niclas Fullkrug and Raul Jimenez.

Kyle Walker-Peters (Southampton)

With Southampton heading for the Championship, Walker-Peters is not going to sign a new deal. The 27-year-old is of Premier League quality, and Tottenham have previously been tipped to re-sign him. The full-back could have plenty of suitors this summer, and he could also suit Fulham and West Ham, who both like full-backs with pace.

This is obviously not an option for Tottenham given the time Partey has spent at Arsenal, but Fulham and West Ham could make an approach if the Gunners do not move to keep the versatile midfielder. Partey has shown he can fill in at the back as well as midfield, and he can still play at a high level in the Premier League at the age of 31. He would be looking for a team competing for Europe if he is to stay in the Premier League, and Fulham can offer that, while West Ham may be able to make a strong pitch.

Christian Norgaard (Brentford)

Norgaard recently told ViaPlay of his Brentford contract situation: “I can see both scenarios playing out. I’m not ruling out either one or the other.

“But the longer time goes by without anything being in place with the club, the more likely scenario number two is that I will have to find somewhere else and continue from the summer. It doesn’t take up everything right now, but at some point you will also have to decide on some concrete things. We will have to see how it plays out.” The 30-year-old has made 22 league appearances so far this season, and he will be an attractive option this summer if the Bees do not tie him down.

Callum Wilson (Newcastle United)

This one is not straightforward, with Newcastle having an option to extend Wilson’s deal by another year, according to The Athletic. The caveat is that Wilson and Newcastle have a good relationship, and if the striker does want to move on, there would surely be an arrangement to be found. Wilson 32 years of age, but he is a reliable goalscorer, and West Ham have already been linked. The Englishman knows he is stuck behind Alexander Isak at Newcastle, so he may be tempted to move on in a bid to land more regular starts.

Victor Lindelof (Manchester United)

Lindelof is now 30 years of age, and he has struggled for regular game time at Old Trafford in recent times. He has just five league appearances for the Red Devils this season, and he looks set to move on. A move to Europe may be more likely, but Fulha,, Tottenham and West Ham could do worse if they want to add defensive competition and depth. Lindelof has plenty of experience at the top level, and he will know he needs to take a lesser wage at his next club.

Ola Aina (Nottingham Forest)

Aina has played a sizable role in Forest’s fine efforts this season, making 25 league appearances, and they will surely move to tie him up unless his head is turned in the meantime. Aina has recently said: “I hope so, I really enjoy it here. I enjoy the staff, the players, the club, the community. Everything about it is a good place, so, yeah, hopefully.” If Forest does not sign a new deal, he could be a good option for a number of London clubs.

Nelson Semedo (Wolves)

At 31 years of age, Semedo would be a back-up option at this stage of his career, but he is a leader and a player with plenty of Premier League experience. The Portugal international has made 21 league appearances so far this season, and he could be an attractive option for some, especially for free.
