Stoke City confirms the next phase of the consultation on club badges.

In order to determine whether the supporters are “appetite for potential change,

” Stoke will begin a consultation over the club’s badge’s future.

The representative fan group Stoke City Connect has been in contact with Stoke regarding

a revision of the team’s 2001-introduced current crest. The broader fan base will now be included in it.

Digital surveys will be sent as the initial phase, and later on, in-person activities will take place.

The goal is to have the new crest on the uniform by the 2026–2027 season, if one is chosen.

“The club envisions working towards future designs that chime with the tradition, history,

and identity of the city and club, should the majority of fans be in favor of a change.”

It further stated: “The club’s estate would be phased in if a new crest were to be unveiled.

The club’s uniforms and online platforms would feature the new crest as of the switchover date,

but there wouldn’t be a complete, instantaneous overhaul of physical signage in every location.

In such a scenario, the old crest would remain in some places

throughout the club’s venues for many years to come.
