AC Milan interested in surprise move for £13m Leicester City star.

In the summer, AC Milan might make a surprise approach to Leicester City for one of their best players.

Due to Leicester’s unsuccessful pursuit of Strahinja Pavlovic during the previous transfer window, the Foxes already had a history with AC Milan.

For Ruud van Nistelrooy’s team, defense has been a major problem this season. The only team that has let up more goals than Leicester (55), thus far, is Southampton (57).

Caleb Okoli had terrible news when the Leicester manager arrived in November, at least when he first started working there.

The Italian has started the previous two games despite Okoli being benched and replaced by Jannik Vestergaard.

In addition, Okoli is statistically Leicester’s greatest defender, so it’s no accident that the Foxes have been marginally stronger at the back since he returned.

For the majority of the transfer window, however, Okoli was tipped to return to Italy but a move to Parma never sufficed.

That may change though as according to TV Play, AC Milan want to sign Okoli.

Milan have considered the 23-year-old as someone who can boost their defensive options after a disappointing Serie A campaign.
