
A significant transfer boost was given to Nottingham Forest in their pursuit of Wolves player Matheus Cunha.
During the January transfer window, Nottingham Forest made a concerted effort to acquire a new forward.
The desire to add a fresh striker to the team was intense for Evangelos Marinakis. For the rest of the season, the Reds will only have Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Wood, which is not ideal for both of them keeping healthy.One of Forest’s main targets was Yoane Wissa. Due to Brentford’s adamant refusal to negotiate a deal in January, the club saw two proposals for the player, who is probably worth approximately £40 million, rejected.
Another person on the list for Forest was Igor Jesus. The Botafogo striker has chosen to remain with the defending champions until the summer, when he will return after Arsenal’s loan proposal was denied.
