Tottenham have submitted an offer of around £50 million to sign the central defender and
they are set to compete with multiple other Premier League clubs in the race to sign the player.
Spurs wanted to sign him in the past as well.
The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in the league and clubs like Arsenal,
Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle are keen on the player as well.
It will be interesting to see if the Eagles are willing to sanction his departure in the summer.

They need more defensive depth in the side and the Crystal Palace star would be an exceptional acquisition.
