The Derby County EFL team list has been revealed, and the reasons for the exclusion of three players
Three players are missing from Derby County’s squad, which the EFL has confirmed
for the remainder of the Championship season.
Derby announced a 22-man roster for the remainder of the season, leaving out Corey Blackett-Taylor,
Curtis Nelson, and Conor Washington. Blackett-Taylor has been sidelined for a long time due to a hamstring issue,
and Nelson is out for the season due to an ACL injury.

Washington has not kicked a ball for the team this season and has been left off the list. Derby can reinstate the players.
However, as Derby had already looked at three names prior to Paul Warne’s departure earlier this month,
it does allow them the chance to add free transfers if they so choose.
Rohan Luthra, the EFL’s third-choice goalie, has been left off the list. The EFL acknowledges that it is a
little cruel to assign a spot in the team to a player who is unlikely to kick a ball, though, considering that he is unlikely to play.
In the case of an injury crisis, Derby will be permitted to apply for his registration if either Josh Vickers or
Jacob Widell-Zetterstrom become unavailable due to an injury.
