It’s a huge night in the Championship promotion race as Sunderland travel to face Leeds United at Elland Road.

With key players returning to the fold, Régis Le Bris has some big decisions to make both with his starting XI and his bench. Here’s how we think he’ll go…

1. GK – Anthony Patterson

Firmly established as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.

2. RB – Trai Hume

One of Sunderland’s most consistent performers and will likely continue at right back here. Is in good form with a goal and and three assists in his last four games.

3. CB – Dan Ballard

Excellent against Luton and while Leeds will offer a totally different kind of attacking threat, you’d expect Ballard to continue.

4. CB – Luke O’Nien

O’Nien continues to be a dependable performer in the heart of defence and its hard to imagine Le Bris not picking up for such an important game. His distribution from the back is key.
