Newcastle United is informed that in order to sign the “scouted” Celtic star in the summer, £20 million will be needed.

According to a report, English Premier League team Newcastle United is interested in Celtic star Nicolas Kuhn.

The German winger joined Celtic in January 2024 for just under £3 million from Rapid Wien and, despite a slow start,

has shown himself to be a huge asset for the Parkhead club. Kuhn had dental issues when he first arrived in

Glasgow and did not reach his full potential at the end of the 2023–24 season. He is currently arguably Celtic’s

most dangerous attacker, having scored 17 goals in all competitions this season, ranking second in the

Premiership with 10 goals and one behind teammate Daizen Maeda on the assists leaderboard with six.

The Daily Mail claims that Newcastle United has taken notice of his impressive play in recent months,

and Magpie scouts were present as Celtic fell to Bayern 2-1 on Wednesday.

After only 25 seconds of play, Kuhn believed he had scored, but Adam Idah was ruled offside and

blocking Neuer’s view at the time of the shot.
