Under coach Frank Lampard, the Sky Blues have improved their play and are now vying for a
spot in the top six of the Championship.
Having won five of their past six league games, Coventry City is in excellent form.Despite
their lackluster performance during the winter transfer window,
the Sky Blues are now planning to sign a forward from the free agent market.
It has been proposed that Paterson, a 33-year-old forward with a wealth of experience
playing in the English second division, will join.He has had the opportunity to play 348
Championship games while playing for teams like Swansea City, Bristol City, Nottingham Forest, and Derby County.
Paterson last played for Charlotte FC, an MLS team.He is now scheduled to sign a short-term contract with Lampard’s team after a year. He will be hoping to make a significant impact in order to assist the Sky Blues get in the top six. He has contributed more than 100 goals in the English second division.
