After Evertvson vs Liverpool, an injury update on Iliman Ndiaye is revealed.

Sami Mokbel of MailOnline reports that Everton attacker Iliman Ndiaye is scheduled to get a scan on

Thursday due to worries that he might have sustained damage to his knee ligaments.

It was a major setback for the Toffees when the former Marseille player hobbled out

during the first half of Wednesday’s match against Liverpool.

The Evertonians who were watching, fearing the worst, were not encouraged by Ndiaye’s obvious distress.

Since moving to Goodison Park during the summer transfer window, Ndiaye has had a big influence.

The tricky winger is currently Everton’s top goalscorer and has been a shining light,

showing his ability as one of the most threatening dribbles in the Premier League.

According to Mokbel, Ndiaye will undergo a scan on Thursday to establish whether he has sustained a serious knee ligament injury.

Initial tests will be looking to determine if he has extended his right medial ligament,

and any severe damage could see him on the treatment table for a significant period of time.

Given that Everton’s Premier League matchup with Crystal Palace is just a few days away, you would think the Senegalese attacker wouldn’t be able to make it.

Given how brilliant Ndiaye has been under the Scottish manager since he took Sean Dyche’s place last month, David Moyes will be hoping that it won’t be the end of his season.

Next week, the Toffees will travel to Brentford four days after hosting Manchester United.

Moyes’ team is going through a busy time, so they will be anxious to have Ndiaye back on the field as soon as possible.

Due to an extended injury list and a dearth of additions during the January transfer window, Moyes already has a limited team to deal with.
