John Eustace Bolsters Derby County Staff with Five Key Appointments
John Eustace has been appointed as the new head coach of Derby County, signing a contract until the summer of 2028.
Joining him are Matt Gardiner as assistant head coach and Keith Downing as first team coach.
Additionally, Matt Hamshaw has been appointed as first team coach, and Andy Warrington as goalkeeping coach.
Eustace, 45, returns to Derby County, where he previously played as a midfielder.
He left his role as head coach of Blackburn Rovers,
who are currently fifth in the Championship, to take on this new challenge.
His first match in charge will be against his former club, Queens Park Rangers, on Friday.
Derby County owner David Clowes expressed enthusiasm about Eustace’s return,
highlighting his leadership qualities and commitment.
Clowes believes Eustace is the right person to guide the club through its current challenges and towards a brighter future.
