Derby County Employees Are Strengthened by John Eustace’s Five Important Appointments

John Eustace is the new head coach of Derby, the team confirmed.

Fifth-place Sky Bet Championship team Blackburn made it apparent that they intended to retain Eustace as manager,

at least through the end of the current campaign.

But he has decided to take over the Rams, who are in 21st place in the table and face relegation.

Paul Warne was fired by Derby last week, and Eustace, who had two stints at Pride Park during his playing career,

was quickly acquired.

It is with great pleasure that Derby County announces John Eustace as their new head coach.

The Rams’ former midfielder has signed a contract which will run until the summer of 2028 and takes up

his position with immediate effect. 🐏

“I’m thrilled to welcome John back to Derby County. Fans will remember him for his craft, commitment,

and intelligence. He was a real leader.” “I’ve followed his managerial career with interest,

and it’s clear he has the qualities we need to maintain our progress.” He helped Birmingham City and

Queens Park Rangers avoid relegation before taking Birmingham to sixth place before leaving, and he

repeated that achievement at Blackburn Rovers, leaving behind a team in the play-off places.

“I am thrilled that he shares our belief in Derby County’s potential and that he wants to play a leading role in our plans”.
