Speaking candidly about Stoke City’s reality, strike idol, and battling imposter syndrome, Nathan Lowe
During his time at Walsall, Nathan Lowe discussed his attempt to take inspiration from Erling Haaland’s
ability to bounce back from setbacks. For a squad that was vying for the League Two championship,
the 19-year-old forward was averaging over three shots per game and was developing the habit of scoring with at least one of them.
It’s safe to conclude that his prospects are dwindling when he was summoned back to Stoke City in January.
In an attempt to move the team up the Championship table, Mark Robins has made it a top priority to address it,
and Lowe is adjusting as well, making sure he can maximize both number and quality.
Before tonight’s trip to Bristol City (7.45pm), he stated, “I think that’s the biggest difference so far and I’d be lying
if I said I hadn’t struggled a little bit to get to grips with that.” “At Walsall, being at that end of the table naturally
creates a lot more chances, but I was obviously used to that before I left.”
I had plenty of opportunities and perhaps three or four shots during the game, but it wasn’t like I was wasting a lot of them.
That was very normal at Walsall, I’d say. Since then, I’ve had one or two games here between two and three.
