Seven players are absent from Everton’s projected starting against Liverpool due to two changes.

As his team gets ready for the final Merseyside derby against Liverpool at Goodison Park,

David Moyes must deal with a significant list of injuries.

Tonight, when the Reds make the quick trip to Goodison Park for the final time,

Liverpool will want to ruin Everton’s celebration.

Before bidding farewell to their old stadium, the Toffees,

who will be relocating to Bramley-Moore Dock for the upcoming season,

will be looking to defeat their neighbors one final time this evening. Naturally,

Arne Slot’s team hopes that won’t be the case as they aim to give Arsenal a nine-point advantage in the Premier League title chase.

At least seven players are expected to miss tonight’s games due to injuries,

including full-backs Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson, who are sidelined by calf and thigh issues,

midfielders Orel Mangala and Dwight McNeill,

who recently had surgery,

forwards Dominic Calvert-Lewin (thigh), Armando Broja (ankle), and Youssef Chermiti (thigh),

With Everton probably adopting a look akin to recent games,

Moyes may try to make two changes this evening, including the Ukrainian.
Naturally, Jordan Pickford will start in goal as usual and undoubtedly fulfill his role as the derby’s pantomime villain.

With Jake O’Brien, James Tarkowski, and Jarrad Branthwaite still playing alongside him,

Mykolenko may be the only defensive alteration made as he takes Ashley Young’s place.
while left-back Vitalii Mykolenko is expected to return.

Moyes does have multiple problems going into tonight’s games, though.

With Abdoulaye Doucoure and Iliman Ndiaye holding their positions further forward,

Idrissa Gueye and James Garner will be looking to provide some extra protection in midfield. Jack Harrison,

however, may replace Jesper Lindstrom, forcing Carlos Alcaraz to wait a little longer for his first start.

With Calvert-Lewin sidelined due to injury, Beto will probably continue up front,

and Moyes will be depending on him to get past Virgil van Dijk and

Ibrahima Konate; Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Harrison, Gueye, Garner, Doucoure, Ndiaye; Beto
