Arsenal to make a move to sign Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi

Arsenal are reportedly planning to make a move to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, as per transfer expert Mike Brown. Since becoming the Gunners’ manager in 2019, Mikel Arteta initially faced challenges with defensive weaknesses. However, following the formation of the centre-back partnership between Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba, Arteta’s team has now emerged as one of the contenders for the Premier League title.

 

The Frenchman has been a fixture at Arsenal in recent years and is now regarded as one of the top centre-backs in the world. Saliba’s performances in the Premier League have piqued the interest of major European clubs. Brown told Football Insider that Real Madrid is interested in signing him to remedy their defensive woes.

The North London club would prefer not to lose the defender, but if they are unable to keep him, they have identified Guehi as a key replacement.
