Following their most recent triumph, a Barcelona star issues a warning to Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

On Sunday night, Barcelona star Iñigo Martínez took advantage of the occasion to issue a warning to the team’s opponents for the La Liga championship.

As much means that Hansi Flick’s team currently lie just two points shy of table-topping Real Madrid in the Spanish top-flight.

After it was previously claimed that Barca were as good as out of the championship race following an uninspiring spate of performances late last year, the Catalans’ push for La Liga dominance is now very much back on track.

And on Sunday, the previously mentioned Iñigo Martínez was keen to remind anyone who had any doubts of just that.

After the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium’s full-time whistle, veteran defender Iñigo gave the following assurance to the media:

“If someone thought we were dead in La Liga, well… tell them that we’re still very much alive! We have ambition, we want to make it happen.”
