Antonio Adán Joins Fulham on Free Transfer

Fulham FC have secured the signing of veteran Spanish goalkeeper Antonio Adán on a free transfer, the club announced today.

The 36-year-old shot-stopper joins the Premier League side following the expiration of his contract with Sporting CP.

Adán, who boasts an extensive career with spells at Real Madrid, Real Betis, Atletico Madrid, and Sporting CP,

brings a wealth of experience to Craven Cottage.

The Spanish goalkeeper has made over 500 senior appearances across top European leagues and will add valuable depth to Fulham’s goalkeeping department.

Speaking about his move, Adán expressed his excitement about joining the London-based club.

“I am thrilled to sign for Fulham.

The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world,

and I am eager to contribute to the team’s success,” he said.

Fulham’s manager, Marco Silva, welcomed the arrival of Adán,

citing his leadership and experience as key assets for the squad.

“Antonio is a fantastic addition to our team.

His knowledge of the game and composure in goal will be crucial as we continue to build a competitive squad,” Silva stated.

With the signing of Adán, Fulham strengthen their goalkeeping options as they look to solidify their position in the Premier League.

The Spanish international is expected to compete for the starting role with Bernd Leno and Marek Rodák,

providing Silva with multiple options between the posts.

Adán has already completed his medical and signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional year.

He could make his debut in Fulham’s upcoming fixture, depending on match fitness and training performances.

Fulham fans will be eager to see their new goalkeeper in action as the club continues its push for a strong league campaign.
