Burnley and Middlesbrough are a pair that Crystal Palace is interested in.
Prior to the summer transfer window, Crystal Palace is considering bids for Burnley center-back
Maxime Esteve and Middlesbrough sensation Rav van den Berg.
The Sun claims that one of the two might take Marc Guehi’s position, who has been more or less
continuously connected to leaving Selhurst Park in recent years.
Guehi’s reputation will have increased following his performances for England at the Euros last year,
as he helped the Three Lions secure a spot in the competition’s final in Germany.
Despite not being able to lead them to the trophy in the end, he performed admirably under Gareth Southgate and made Palace proud.
However, Guehi’s success could backfire on the Eagles, as the center defender is drawing a lot of interest.
Given that Oliver Glasner’s team has previously had success in the EFL market with players like Michael Olise,
who is currently playing for Bayern Munich, and Eberechi Eze, this might have a knock-on impact for a Championship team.
It is currently thought that they are keeping an eye on two additional English second-tier players.
Maxime Esteve and Rav van den Berg are of interest to Crystal Palace.
The Sun claims that Palace is aware that they will need to make a move to acquire
Guehi in the summer because teams like Chelsea, Newcastle United,
and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the midfielder.
