Despite his team losing games and giving up goals this season, Luke Williams will continue to coach Swansea City.

Swans Chairman Andrew Coleman is more than content with him at the moment and is not under

any pressure to remove him from his position.

That might be due as much to the expense of firing Williams and some of his coaching staff as it is to

Coleman’s reluctance to acknowledge that he made a mistake in hiring him a year or so ago.

We also learn that Tyler Morse, a powerful new board member and investor,

is currently at ease about the pitch difficulties that are obviously worrying a lot of Swans supporters.

It is one thing to be at ease, but the Swans are not in that position for Sunday’s

Championship match at Ashton Gate. (12 KO) This weekend’s big event on Sky Sports will feature the game.

Swansea City will recruit a new player. Lewis O’Brien has his clearances and is now accessible.

That may be as much a result of Coleman’s unwillingness to admit that he was wrong to hire

Williams a year or so ago as it is of the cost of sacking him and part of his coaching staff.
