After a “no chance” of playing at Ibrox, Rangers said they had signed a gem to join the Light Blues.
On the day of the transfer deadline, Rangers announced his arrival.
From having no chance of making such a move to becoming a Light Blues player in waiting,
a Rangers recruit has been praised.
After signing a pre-contract before the summer, Lyall Cameron was revealed as a Rangers signing on transfer deadline day.
He will stay with Dundee until the end of the current campaign,
after which he will transfer to Ibrox as the team looks to keep acquiring the best Scottish players.
This season, Cameron has scored eight goals and provided seven midfield assists for Tony Docherty’s team.
Derek Ferguson, a former Rangers midfielder, is pleased with the 22-year-old’s performance thus far and
believes his former team can make significant gains in the local market.
“I have watched him over the last couple of years,” Ferguson told Open Goal.
exceptionally talented technically. contributes objectives. And a terrific age.
He also meets every need that the Rangers have. Although he can play a variety of positions,
he will be in the middle of the field.I believe he will thrive if you surround him with quality players.
There are little nuggets in Scotland that you can go and collect, so I’m happy Rangers are on that path.
He’ll go in and take care of things, I believe. I’ve always found it impressive.
The midfielder played 33 games overall while on loan from Dundee in Peterhead,
where he also spent some time with host Simon Ferry.
