Gabriel Sara reveals one Norwich City regret following summer exit
Regarding his summer departure from Norwich City, Gabriel Sara has been candid.
After an impressive Championship performance the year before, the Brazilian left the Canaries.
He moved to the Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray, where he has made seven Europa League games
and eighteen Süper Lig outings.
The agreement included over £20 million in fixed fees, with an additional £2.5 million in possible
add-ons, according to a BBC article from August.
Gabriel Sara reveals Norwich City exit regret
Even though he enjoyed his time at Norwich, Sara has stated that the transfer to Galatasaray was
a necessary step for him at this stage of his career.
He did, however, admit that his one regret about leaving was not being able to say goodbye properly.
After I returned from Austria, Sara recalled, “I remember when I heard the news, Jack Stacey was in
my house watching the Olympics,” according to Pink Un.
“I gazed at him even after he had left my house, and he was pleased for me but also a little depressed.
I felt both happy and a little depressed at the same moment.
Gabriel Sara’s exit is working out for all parties
In the end, the arrangement has worked out well for everyone so far, even though Sara didn’t get a heartfelt send-off from Norwich when he went in the summer.
Borja Sainz has taken over as the team’s main player under Thorup as a result of his departure.
In the meanwhile, the 25-year-old is competing in both the Europa League and a top European
football league.
After reinvesting the player’s large transfer price back into the team, Norwich is now solidly in the running for a play-off spot.
