Adriel Walker, a forward for West Bromwich Albion, has signed a contract with Stoke City.
After spending the previous nine years in the Albion system, the 19-year-old inks an 18-month contract. Under Dave Hibbert, he will play for Stoke’s under-21 squad. Prior to joining Albion’s under-21 team this season, he scored nine goals for their under-18 team the previous season.
After confirming a deal for Manchester United midfielder Ruben Curley yesterday, it is the second acquisition Stoke has been able to make for the 21st century since deadline day.

Manager Mark Robins, sports director Jon Walters, and academy director Gareth Owen were all impressed by Stoke’s outstanding forward on trial during the team’s 4-2 Central League victory over Huddersfield Town at Clayton Wood on Tuesday afternoon.When the under-21 team hosts Crystal Palace at Clayton Wood on Monday at 2:30 p.m., they will resume play.
