Just In: Following David Moyes’ decision, Harrison Armstrong can provide Derby County with what they’ve been lacking.
Harrison Armstrong had many positive reviews from Everton supporters when
he arrived at Derby County on deadline day.
With comments like “future England international” and “he will be a top player for you
” the 18-year-old was showered with vocal praise on social media. The youth,
who is regarded as too talented for the academy but not yet prepared for the regular demands of the Premier League,
is a favorite of both Sean Dyche and David Moyes, the current manager of Everton.
At Goodison, however, he has undoubtedly left his impression.
Moyes only mentioned last month how “hugely impressed” he was with the England junior player,
who “has got a bit of personality as well.”

Where Armstrong will fit into this team is still up in the air,
as Derby is entrusted with developing another of Everton’s intriguing prospects to
come off the Finch Farm production line.
His technical skill is evident in several YouTube videos, whether he is carrying the
ball from a distance or breaking through defenses with the kind of passing that
Derby hasn’t had this season in the middle. Playing him deeper would be a complete
waste of his ability to create issues in between the lines, even though he appears to be a
perfect fit for a number 10 position or as a conventional eight.
If strikers make the runs, he can find them, as seen by the ball he provided for Be
to in the FA Cup victory over Peterborough last month. He appears to be a perfect
match to provide Derby with an additional offensive avenue, which the squad has
frequently been criticized for lacking, in light of the increased demand for
them to play through the middle of the pitch.
