Nottingham Forest signing Joel Ndala has already outshone Ethan Nwaneri with big prediction made
Joel Ndala’s outstanding prior performances put Nottingham Forest in good company as they
confirmed a late agreement for the winger before the transfer window closed on Monday.

To the surprise of the whole football community, let alone Forest supporters, Forest only broke with
just minutes remaining in the window when they agreed to a deal for Ndala.
After Forest acquired Tyler Bindon from Reading, it appeared that all was settled, but Evangelos Marinakis had one last surprise planned before the lights went out at the City Ground.
Ndala will first join the Forest Academy following his loan transfer to the team; if he performs well during his time in the younger ranks, Forest may decide to make the move permanent.
However, he has made 12 appearances for PSV Eindhoven’s B team, which competes in the Dutch football second division this season, so he has some senior experience in case Nuno Espirito Santo
needs more players in the Forest squad.
But throughout his brief career, he has excelled in the youth ranks, as one former coach noted when discussing how he was able to surpass Arsenal wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri.
Joel Ndala starred over Ethan Nwaneri on the international stage
From the under-16 level, Ndala has excelled for the England youth divisions; his most recent international experience was with the under-19 squad.
But it was his performance at the 2023 Under 17 World Cup that garnered the most attention, and
as a result, Callum Rollings, his previous coach at Port Vale, ranked him higher in the team than
some of the best players.
With his international experience, Ndala should be able to emulate the success of Morgan
Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who both became key players for Espirito Santo’s team
after establishing themselves at the Under 17 World Cup.
