The Premier League team sends the highly regarded 18-year-old to Pride Park Stadium through the
conclusion of the 2024–2025 campaign.
Armstrong, who has played for the Toffees in all three senior domestic competitions this season,
joins the Rams as their fourth midseason acquisition.Last month, he made headlines by setting up
the first goal and winning Player of the Match in Everton’s 2-0 FA Cup Third Round victory over Peterborough United.

Armstrong, who was born in Liverpool’s West Derby neighborhood, enrolled in Everton’s academy
at the age of five and advanced to the Under-18 team in the 2022–2023 campaign.
When he came off the bench to make his debut, he had just turned sixteen.
Armstrong scored his first goal in his debut at the Under-21 level, and in July 2024, he signed his
first professional contract as a result of his quick development.
Before being selected as a substitute for their Premier League opener against Brighton & Hove Albion,
he played for the first team in preseason friendlies against Salford City, Preston North End, and AS Roma.
A week later, he made his maiden senior league debut in the top level, coming off the
bench against Tottenham Hotspur.
