Archie Gray arrived from Elland Road in a different deal, and Tottenham sold Joe Rodon to
Leeds United for £10 million.
With the six-year contract he signed, Gray will remain with Spurs until 2030. Football.

The 18-year-old – who had been linked to a number of Premier League clubs – looked set
to sign for Brentford but a payment arrangement could not be agreed, allowing Spurs to jump in.
Despite being a natural midfielder, Gray, the son of former Leeds star Andy,
spent the majority of the previous season playing at right-back. Last season,
he made 52 appearances for Leeds, 47 of which were starts, and recorded two assists.
Meanwhile, Rodon spent last season out on
Rodon, meanwhile, played 50 games with Gray while on loan at Leeds last season,
helping the team advance to the Championship play-off final. After joining Spurs from Swansea City in October 2020,
the defender played just 24 games in four years. Rodon, a Wales international,
made a late appearance in Tottenham’s 1-0 victory over Burnley in May 2022,
which was his final game for the team. Gray’s entrance, who will don the No. 14 shirt,
coincides with his departure.
Despite interest from recently promoted Premier League teams Ipswich Town and Leicester City,
it is believed that Rodon preferred a four-year contract return to Leeds.
