Real Betis made a £10m bid for Mateo Joseph, which Leeds United rejected.
Going into the current campaign, there were great expectations for the 21-year-old, as Daniel Farke offered Joseph the opportunity to secure a spot in the first XI.

Leeds United rejects transfer offer for Mateo Joseph
Joseph has contributed to the Whites’ rise to the top, but he has only scored three times in 29 matches, with his most recent goal coming in the 7-0 thrashing of Cardiff City on Saturday.
Nevertheless, it seems that Leeds still completely believe in the forward, as The Athletic disclosed that the Yorkshire club turned down a bid of “more than” £10m for the Spain U21 international.
As the La Liga team now aims to complete a transfer for Cucho Hernandez of Columbus Crew, it seems they have shifted their focus in the search for a striker, resulting in Joseph staying at Elland Road.
Mateo Joseph should be retained by Leeds United It’s difficult to believe that Leeds took this offer seriously at this point in the window, as Farke wouldn’t have planned for the loss of a striker.
