DEAL DONE: Juventus signs Newcastle’s Lyod Kelly on deadline day – details

Lloyd Kelly, a defender for Newcastle, arrived in Turin just now and will be tested medically by

Juventus tomorrow.

Kelly is almost ready to sign a loan deal with Juventus, but he has to buy from Newcastle first.

Gianluca Di Marzio, a transfer specialist for Sky Sport Italia, stated that the English defender has

just touched down at Turin’s Caselle Airport.

On Monday, February 3, the deadline day, Kelly will sign his contract with the Old Lady and go

through medical testing.
Gazzetta claims that Juventus will pay €3 million for the defender’s loan through the end of the

current campaign, with a €14 million purchase commitment.

Kelly’s Role at Juventus

Kelly will have to fight for his spot in Juventus’ defence as he switches between black and white s

hirts. Veiga and Gatti will be Kelly’s immediate rivals as Kalulu will be out for a month. Given the
