Aston Villa’s transfer report reveals that a “verbal agreement reached” has been reached as the £45 million star approaches a move away.

Joao Felix, a reported target for Aston Villa, moved to Italy on deadline day,

leaving Unai Emery’s team out.
Chelsea striker Joao Felix will be joining Italian team AC Milan on loan for the remainder of the season,

meaning Aston Villa will lose out on one of their most sought-after targets of the winter transfer window.

The Portuguese forward was on Unai Emery’s shortlist as he sought to add more depth and firepower up front,

but David Ornstein claims that the former Atletico Madrid player will now move to Serie A.

The forward only signed a permanent contract with Chelsea last summer, reportedly for £45 million including add-ons.

According to Ornstein of The Athletic, Milan has “verbally agreed” to sign Felix on a loan with no buyout option.

In addition, Milan will pay Felix’s entire salary and an upfront sum of €5.5 million (£4.5 million).

The teams are anticipated to confirm the deal later today. Felix’s status as a Villa target going into

the last day of the transfer window is unknown. Marcus Rashford’s arrival from Manchester United

on an initial loan has already been confirmed by the Villans, and they are almost certain

to sign Marco Asensio from PSG.dline day.
