Just In: A former Sheffield United prospect linked to Middlesbrough and Burnley moves on loan to a Championship team.
Will Lankshear of Tottenham Hotspur, who had been linked to Middlesbrough,
has been loaned to West Bromwich Albion.
The 19-year-old forward won Premier League 2 Player of the Season last season and is well-liked at Tottenham.
According to reports, Middlesbrough had asked about his availability and he was being set up for a Championship loan move.
Burnley, Cardiff City, and Luton Town were reportedly reported to have expressed interest in signing him,
but West Brom has emerged victorious.
“During my time here, I have a great chance to compete for playing time and, ideally,
score goals that will help the team continue to push for promotion.
“Tony Mowbray is a manager who everyone says only good things about and I’m keen to
learn as much from him as I can over the next few months.”

Tottenham’s notice and returned to London in 2022. “We have felt since the summer that we
would need to prioritise the addition of another striker in this window, and we are pleased now
