Everton 4-0 Leicester – Post Match Everton Player Ratings
David Moyes’ team has now won three of their last four games since returning to Goodison Park with
yet another dominant performance.

There was still some nervousness surrounding E
verton going into the Leicester match, even though
they had just secured their second straight victory in a 1-0 victory at Brighton.
A certain tenacity was always expected because Everton supporters have witnessed their team lose
“must win” games for far too long.
After defeating Tottenham, the visitors would have reduced the distance between themselves and
the Toffees to only three points if they had won at Goodison Park.
However, following a stunning long ball from Jordan Pickford, Abdoulaye Doucoure scored a goal
just 11 seconds to give Everton a fantastic start.
Beto scored his second goal and his team’s third of the match with a fantastic through pass from the returning James Garner just before halftime.
David Moyes’ team put on a fantastic show, winning three of their last three games thanks to a late
goal from Illiman Ndiaye following some incredibly bad defending.
Everton is now 10 points clear of the relegation zone after Southampton’s victory away at Ipswich,
which is a huge accomplishment given how quickly Sean Dyche was fired.
