Luton Town have signed midfielder Josh Bowler on loan from Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season.

The 25-year-old, who made 13 appearances this season while on loan at Preston, has since moved to Kenilworth Road.

After stints at QPR and Everton, he joined Forest from Blackpool in 2022, and this is his seventh loan move away from the team.

According to manager Matt Bloomfield, Josh has extensive Championship experience at several clubs, according to the Luton website.

“At the top of the field, he’s a true creative spark who can finish as well as create opportunities for others. He wants to play in the formation we want to deploy and has a point to show.”

Bowler’s arrival comes after Millenic Alli and Thelo Aasgaard were signed by Exeter City and Wigan Athletic, respectively.

“I’ve experienced playing at Kenilworth Road a few times and it’s always been one of those grounds that I’ve found tough to go to,” said the player.
“To be able to play there week in, week out with those fans on my side is something I’m really looking forward to.”
